Lost in the noise? I got you. I'm Vonne Solis. Welcome to this series for powerful life change.

So welcome to another Divine Healing coaching episode. Today, we are talking all about lost in the noise and how to truly find yourself in a world of expectations and overwhelm. So a lot of you may be feeling lost, overwhelmed and certainly stressed and so on, as a result of the high expectations you may have for yourself, or for the expectations that others may have for you. That would be someone you are not. Someone you don't want to be. Or, you simply don't know who you are, and are questioning deeply, who am I and why am I here? I think you hear that a lot.
Vonne Solis 0:52
So these are very common questions that younger generations often ask of themselves, and that while older ones do too, largely by a certain age, we're all expected to have figured our life out. However, we can all still be overwhelmed at any age and stressed by these questions, who am I and why am I here? Because either we never did figure this out earlier in our life, and we may have settled as a result. Or, because something really tragic has rocked our world at any age and caused us to question everything again, as if we were brand new to life. Which is exactly what happened to me when I was 48 years old after the suicide of my daughter, when she was 22, in 2005.
Vonne Solis 1:41
And when we don't know who we are or what we want, really, at any age? We feel lost and overwhelmed and struggle mentally and emotionally trying to figure all this out, largely on our own, without the support and guidance that we all need to map out our lives. Which only adds additional stress to our already stressful lives, and to the concerns and hopelessness we feel about our future, regarding our finances, security, relationships, our direction, purpose, our self-worth. Often our ability to achieve what we want to even if we do start to figure out pieces of what we want to do in our life. And then we give up or quit pursuing our dreams. As a result, millions of people, young and younger, are struggling with finding their place in the world. Both in how they most authentically want to identify themselves, and in their search to create a meaningful life, to contribute to the world in their own unique way. In a way that brings them contentment, joy, fulfillment and peace.
Vonne Solis 3:03
A major part of this struggle when we are searching for our identity or identities, because as we start to creatively map out our lives, we can relate to more than just one identity, so the problem is that we must be able to withstand the cultural and social pressures that today are challenging individuals from even the very youngest of ages because of constantly shifting benchmarks and the standards we have come to adopt as quote, unquote, the norm. That for certain generations and even some cultures, the collective itself or individuals within its confines, often as part of an established family structure or system, simply do not, cannot, or will not accept any type of change as desirable or necessary. As such, those of us searching to find a new identity that we have lost or because we never did form a clear and unique view of ourselves, must now attempt to reestablish ourselves in quote, unquote, a mainstream society against all odds of guaranteed success, simply because of the divisiveness instantly created from any resistance to change. Either by an individual or collective that only creates more harm and disconnect between us all.
Vonne Solis 4:20
In essence, the more that people decide for or against change based only on an absolute idea of a right or wrong way of being and doing. A thinking that comes entirely from the ego, the more we create a society of isolation and fear. And where there is power in numbers to propagate rigid ideas and thinking, this also often creates a society of anger and violence based on an attitude of "We know better because we are better." The past has shown us this. And there will be certain consequences for anyone who dares to think outside this structure. When in fact, people have no clue about anything, unless and until they walk in another person's shoes experiencing the exact same situation for which they themselves otherwise have only had contempt and judgment through ignorance and misunderstanding. Period.
Vonne Solis 5:59
So with all that being said, how do you tune out the loud noise and truly find yourself in a world of expectations and overwhelm? Well, first, you take a deep breath. That's right, one big breath in and out. And you commit to being your own best friend and navigator of the type of life you do want to fully live one day, if not now. And always be mindful in your thoughts, actions and choices about what it will take to get there, even if you have to alter some of your steps along the way. To reduce anxiety, stress, burnout and imbalance in all areas of your life, often caused, if not always caused by, who am I? Why am I here? You first must know what is causing you, the anxiety, stress and burnout resulting in this imbalance and what you are willing and can do to immediately and then on a continued path, affect change in your life. No matter how small a change this is to begin with.
Vonne Solis 7:34
Committing to treating yourself first and foremost, with the gentleness and respect that is necessary to immediately start eliminating or reducing what you can in your life, to rebalance the areas out of whack in your physical, mental and emotional state is a solid beginning that will set your transformation in motion. The ease, grace and gentleness with which you manage even the simplest of changes to your mind. That is your thoughts and beliefs and your body. Which would be any illness. How you react to situations. What you can manage to get under control related to stress, anxiety and the emotional state that you most desire to be in will be the most likely predictor of the time you will need to gently and then further ignite the power you have within to begin a ourse of self-mastery over your life, as you connect at a deeper level to your inner being. For some people, this may be a rapid connection, and they will start to see changes in their life right away. For others, it can take longer to appreciate this osmosis of change. But rest assured for all of us, no matter how our transformation starts and deepens as we trust ourselves to get where we want to go, it begins the moment we are aware that we want change and are willing to change.
Vonne Solis 9:27
The takeaway from today's coaching episode is to become more aware of who you do not want to be or identified as versus how you would rather and maybe already do characterize yourself as you consider your unique traits, interests, gifts, abilities, personality. Experiences, strengths, weaknesses, passions and dislikes, in both a very general and with deepening knowledge. Some of these that can and do change or evolve over time, and some that may disappear entirely after something awful has happened to us. Regardless, the goal of this messaging in today's tutorial is to get you thinking about you and the importance of connecting to your authenticity. Which can be found at the core of your being, where all change happens when you discover who you really are. No longer lost.

I'll be speaking a lot more in my upcoming series on this topic and many, many things related to it as I both speakwith younger generations. I'm aware of what's happening. I have a millennial son. I'm, you know, sort of his coach. One of my passions is to help people totally not struggle. Find the power they have within themselves, to really, really trust in their abilities. Trust that they know the Truth of who they are and ultimately why you came to the planet. I just love working with people to help them figure all of this out as I deepen my own journey at this point inmy life. Experiences, relationships, who we choose, what we do, why we do what we do. Who we lose, why we have lost them. Where we live, where we're headed. What kind of collective? What kind of community we have lived in, are living in. How you know we were born in gender, who we were born to. What culture we come from. What race we belong to.
Vonne Solis 11:59
All of these things actually can present us with a number of questions that as we get curious about our passions and then more serious about our purpose and what we want to contribute to on this planet. Either because we have a gnawing to do it. Because we have a deep-seated need that we have connected to from a very young age,but haven't had all the answers to. Or because it is evolving, and we're already doing something, but it is taking us somewhere else. These questions become very, very important and literally do help us form identity that helps us shape and, as I say, map out our life as we continue to move forward. And this, for me, is an ongoing process until we literally transcend from this physical body.
Vonne Solis 12:47
So again, thank you very much for tuning in, whether you're watching this or whether you're listening. I'll be again, excited to share with you upcoming episodes related to this content, and really hope you join me. So until next time, bye.
